We were engaged in may of 06 and over the summer I neglected her. i really love her and have struggled to make her beleve that my eyes are now wide open and i realize that this was not an example of a person just being naughty, but a genuine example of someone pushed to the last resort. obviously this guy took atvantage of her sadness over me and filled the void. now i really feel that as time passes, she will regret this and try to come back. i know that if i ever bring it up, i will doom the future of our relationship. I also have my head screwed on straight and vow to never put anything before her (football,"the guys" or whatever) i took her to amsterdam and proposed to her on the beach and went to a concert where it was broadcasted in 25 countries and had a sound bite of my proposal to supllement the real one at the beach. the ring is 1.3 carats and i am still paying for it. we have a LOT of history been together for 7 years.

we last spoke on the 17th of jan. she has called me (5) times in the last 48 hrs. i really want to answer and tell her i love her but i know i know i should wait to answer and klet her call a few more times. my friends and family think that when she elevautes the situation she will miss our history and life we used to have - how much longer should i wait to answer the phone? she has been over at that duddes house for most of january - giving him rides to work and stuff (he has no car).she might remeber that we actaully HAD a socail life. i just hope she really miss me and is genuine when she comes back. any ideas or stradegies? guys thanks?

Take her back? That's easily answered by asking yourself DO YOU LOVE HER? WOULD YOU DO ANYTHING FOR HER?
Answer both of those questions, and you've answered your original question. By the way, if she does choose to come back make sure SHE knows the answers to those two questions also. Don't neglect her again...

The question is ..... WILL SHE GIVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE? If it was me and the situation went down just like you said it then I probably would give you another chance due to history. If the problem was that you took her for granite but no cheating was involved then it can always be worked out. I assume that you are under 40 yr of age and still want to run with the guys and all. No one says that you can't hang with the fellas, just do it in moderation. You have to show her what her future wil be like and that was not a good picasso that you painted for her.

no I wouldn't take her back but you might could be friends. She might does it again. If both of you were teenagers it different you still have a lot of growing up to do.
