I'm going to NYC and need ideas for some great casual wear and something for the night out (preferably a pants set)! What's in? I need your help ASAP!

New York city isn't very warm right now, and you'll probably be walking quite a bit. So I'd wear some jeans, and a peacoat/blazer, and comfortable shoes. Bring along some mittens, umbrella, and sunglasses (weather changes very suddenly). Don't wear a lot of white, because NYC is full of smog.
At night, wear a pair of black jeans because black makes everyone look slimmer. Bring/wear your peacoat, and just wear a bright colored halter top.

For something casual just wear some skinny leg jeans, a cute shirt and some cute flat boots. At night u can wear a pair of cute dress pants with the matching jacket and cute button up.

First off - a fabulous coat. belted dpwn jackets are very in right now.
Casual- great form fitting jeans, a retro t-shirt and a fitted blazer with 1 big piece of funky jewelry.
Night Out- turn your day look into night by switching the tshirt out for something showing a bit more skin.

Well I'll tell ya..... Jeans and heels is a eveyday staple in NYC. The accessories also make a statment for you. Make sure you have a banging coat, bag, shoes, and earrings. It's all about confidence put some make-up on and do your hair, make sure you look persentable and what you wear will speak for it's self. (NYC is more of a attitude than anthing else)

well, i always say set the trends and be different, whether you think it's in style or not, go for it, if you like it, that's what matters..but go for something cute, like nice pair of heels, khaki's, and a button up blouse for a preppy look, the classic pinstripe look, but i would wear a cute black hat (dressy hat), white blouse, red tie, pinstripe pants ( a nice vest to coordinate with bottoms), and a nice (comfortable) pair of heels
