Im a Full time college student who is struggling financially and i want to find a way to make my money work for me. Ill be receiving my income tax check soon, and ill also be receiving the rest of my grant for school at the end of March. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions as to some steps i could take to do that? Im really trying to get on my feet financially for now and for the future.

one thing I could recommend is getting yourself in and familiarizing yourself with the stock market and possibly buy stocks, it will be a investment that might work and might fail, but it's well worth the try.
the other thing I can say, run your own business. If you love to write about a particular topic or subject and can write very well, running your own site and have advertisements could also help. I work as a freelance webdesigner and I know many clients who earn their entire income based on the ads that they get on their website.
there is a lot of ways to make money work for you, the only thing is that how much time you really want to dedicate to make money work for you,

Fantastic for you! Great attitude, wish we had thought like that before we got married and had children! I highly recommend Dave Ramsey for helping guide you to a profitible future. Save some of your tax money back for an emergency fund and then start paying off any debt you might have. This will allow you to save extra each month and then you should start investing some of it.

I would check out some websites and stuff if you are good at that. There is a really basic guide on this site and it can help you make around 5-10 dollars a day.
