Hi there, has someone checked the water pump? If the water doesn't ciculate properly , no heat. Has someone flushed the entire system? Have someone check that both radiator hoses are hot when the engine is warm and make sure the system has been bled to ensure no air locks are present and make sure the header tank is not split round the base of the cap, they are bad for that.
Cheers

Sounds like you could have an air lock, try to bleed the system by undoing one of the pipe clips untill the water starts to flow, best if you can do the pipe nearer the heater. If it's not that renew the stat as it may be stuck fully open.
