I took one depo shot from october-december.. I bleed for a while in december very lightly. january i havent got my period yet, but i took a test 1 week ago and it was negative. I have 4 boys and would love a girl but we werent trying, actually we used protection but there was a time that i thought it may have leaked out! i know my body pretty well and i was right on with each pregnancy this time im not sure but something tells me inside that i might be but because of that shot i took i dont know if missing my period this month means that i am pregnant? also my body always stopped bleeding when i was pregnant!

light bleeding can easily mean you are pregnant, i bleed and thought that i had had a miscarriage but really i was still pregnant. i think blood work would be the best for you right now. call the doctor and explain to her your issues. because if you are pregnant, the depo shot has pills you need to take so clear itself out of your body if anything of that is still in there

well coming off the depo shot can cause your period to be irregular for a few months but if you are still unsure take a hpt good luck to you

To ease your mind, why don't you give your doc a call and schedule an appointment. You don't sound convinced by the home test you took. You know they can do a blood test and know for sure! That way, you'll know for sure!
