Because they're always complaining the most. I get a kick out of these new Afrocentric talking points that this country was built on the backs of blacks. What utter BS. All they did was pick a little cotton down South. How is that building a nation?

OMG. So much whining about everything! Get over ok, blacks have a history month becausewe earned it all the things we did to help this country and still people are getting angry that blacks have their on month. And your right its the shortest month of the year! And dont you think as a white you get more things than blacks you ever notice that? Also hispanics have their own history month as well, and if you think about it the white male gets every month of the year for glory just because of his skin color which is silly. Can you just forget it. We are all one big happy family :)

I There was a period of time in which african/african american history wasn't printed in history text at all; It was as if there history started at slavery. Also at one time there weren't any people of color on television unless they were a maid/butler; and not to mention the stereotypical images of blacks that the masses quickly believed. Blacks have missed out on the majority of opportunities due to lack of knowlege; Not all blacks are destructive; In every race you have your good and bad. You must first go in to the mind set of the blacks that aren't productive; in my opinion these destructive actions are mental effects of slavery(read the willie lynch letters) how do you feel that the world is unjust to us(whites)? We have everything at our fingertips without any boundaries and should be thankful!! African history is the worlds history!!! this is the missing link in mystery; we must realize that all of us are descendants of africa and embrace every race and culture of people and stop the negativity. Africa is the cradle of all humanity!!

That is very true, and not as racist as they are. Even Africa is falling apart since the USA forced the whites there to turn over the government to the blacks. Their own vice president raped an HIV positive prostitute and is more popular now than ever. There is so much corruption going on over there with the slaughtering of whites, burning of farms, and raping of the women, yet no one in the other countries ever hear about it.

Well their history did start with slavery. They had no written language. So to be technical the only History of them was written by other races any way. No one knows for sure of their history because it wasn't recorded. I here them all the time saying they don't even know what part of Africa they are from. Well their very ancestors called all parts of Africa different names. They had no maps so how could they even answer that question. If you think about it with an open mind it is SILLY.

i believe like i'm repeating myself, because of the fact somebody else puzzled why we've not got a "white historical past" month... oh, and by ability of how, African individuals do no longer celebrate slavery. i do no longer think of every person could celebrate being somebody else's slave. it is ordinarily what I advised the different individual... ordinarily because of the fact maximum if no longer all histories that have been written and centred the movements, struggles, and triumphs of white civilization. Why could one racial group that gets the main compliment and assurance in maximum historic information get its very own month? explanation why blacks and different minorities get their very own particular months for his or her historical past is by the fact they are minorities that ordinarily get little, if any real assurance of their struggles or a minimum of their historical past from their perspective. the purpose of issues like "Black historical past Month" is to convey to easy the struggles and traumas of a minority in American historical past that became saved in slavery from the 2d they arrived in u.s. till 1865, weren't given equivalent rights till the Sixties, and did no longer have a guy interior the White abode till 2009 (with 2008 being the 365 days of election).
