Hi, I am the mother of 4 children. I only had heartburn through one pregnancy, and SHE was my only baby born with hair.

And It Really Doesn't Matter If she Has Hair Or Not - Just Remember That She Is The Most Precious Gift From GOD!

No thats not true but when your baby starts dropping down to the head position you will have less heartburn and will be able to breath better too. Because it's extremely common throughout pregnancy, heartburn isn't an accurate predictor of whether your baby will be born with lots of hair

I had the WORST heartburn ever! it lasted all day, and all night, just thinking about it gives me Heartburn lol.... When My son was born in May 06, he had alot of hair. And to this day still does, so I guess it is true!
Congrats on Being a mom!!!!!! Its awesome!

If this old wives tale was a truth...all three of mine would have came out looking like Cousin It! I feel for ya, the heartburn and refulx from baby taking up so much room can be quite terrible! Good Luck!

I don't know if this old wive's tale is true or just coincidence, but I have three children; all born with a LOT of hair and I had horrible heartburn throughout each pregnancy.

Probably! I had a bad heartburn when i was pregnant with my baby girl.When she was born nobody in the clinic could believe how much hair she had...Now i`m pregnant again, 27 weeks but it`s much less,i guess my baby boy will have less hair!!!

Wives tale! I had three, no heartburn, lots of hair!! Everywhere I went people still said you must have had a lot of heartburn!!

Nope, it's not true. Heartburn is caused because the baby is pushing up on your stomach, which in turn makes the stomach acid go up into the esophogus which causes the heartburn.
