Do you beleive we have been here before, and we have a soul mate that is with us throughout many life times? do you thing=k that would explane love at first sight?

I am a true believer in reincarnation but not in a religious sense. I believe that consciousness is separate from the mind and continues to live on even after the body dies. The reason I believe this is because I wonder why I am even conscious in this body to begin with. Was it just random? That doesn't seem reasonable to me. There must have been some part of me that chose this body that I'm in now. If it was random, then why this body and not someone else's? I know you could counter that with a question like "Well, why not 1 instead of 4?" But then I'd say, "OK, why don't I just wake up as someone else then?" But then you get even deeper into the subject because what if we do this all the time? What if we wake up as other people all the time and just don't know it because that persons brain thinks it's been them the whole time? This is starting to give me brain bubbles.

As far as soul mates go, I think that might just be wishful thinking, but maybe reincarnation is too.

I do believe in past lifes, the soul mate issue is not so simple to explain. For sure you will have to deal with your "soul mate" but its not always your partner, could be your Father, brother, uncle or friend. What we expirience as Love at first sight is that both souls are meant to learn during this life. If it doesn't last for ever (meaning a long term relationship) its because you have learned what you needed to.

honestly, i don't believe in past life and i think love at first sight has nothing to do with past life. it's only a chemistry you feel when you see someone which happen to be the first sight.

Reincarnation is a myth. People who claim to have lived past lives in the flesh probably dabble in sorcery and have a demonic spirit within them that obviously can recall many past lives as a result of many demonic possessions throughout the centuries. Be very wary of these people.

I certainly believe in reincarnation, but always as a human being and not as a transgenic being whereby, in one life one can be a fly and in another a higher animal, etc. People who reincarnate often seek other people with whom they have lived together, but often with utterly different relationships. For instance, father to offspring, brothers or sisters, master to subordinate, mutual enemies and, it was not always romantic but can become a mutual fruitful and beneficial relationship towards further elevation.True, altruistic, profound love can be a higher form of elevation.
