im having trouble with ip adress on the xbox 360 i madea gamer account and know i want to play live i go and it says network adapter is conncected but ip adress failed im looking at their solutions to the problem but i dont understand them im not a computer wiz and i dont get all the big there saying like modem router lan can someone tell in normal language how can i solve the problem with my ip adress

i've had the same problem with mine. it must be the modem your using. is it wireless?? if it is, you'd better find the ip address from that.
if it still happens, your problem then is that you have a DNS error. it happend to me too. just turn off your modem for about 30seconds(more if it doesn't work)then turn it back on.
if that doesn't help, then just go to xbox.com
it should have all the info there.
