I am a feminist, but never radical.. as mentioned before, anything radical is bad. Radicals have lost sight of the true aims, which are to gain equality - or the case i argue for is self-reliance. Housewives are seen as being dependant on their men, regarding bringing in money and social security, etc. Many women opt for careers now, or at least try to incorporate work into their lives to break out of this system. you never know what could happen these days, its just sensible to be prepared to make your own way through life -i.e. when your hubby leaves you for a younger model, etc.
Radicals just blame men for everything, overlooking that fact that things are getting better now.

Don't forget, a lot of men argue for the right to stay at home at look after their kids now - it's no myth.

Sometimes. It my feelings about it vary based on how many men have whistled at me, called me "honey", or referred to me as a girl even though I am an adult woman that day.

It's interesting that the majority of people are not phased by radical sexism (the many people on here who insist that women should not even have jobs or do anything that takes them away from their housekeeping duties), yet nearly everyone is appalled by "radical feminist" women who just want equality in every sector of their lives.

I believe it worked about 150 years ago. Today, however, I don't think it's really necessary in most situations. Hunger strikes, for example . . .that's pretty radical. Women needed some pretty radical changes back when feminism first started.

no. I don't agree with many radical feminist views and I'm a woman. But as has already been mentioned .. nothing radical is good. I think some women take it too far and start blaming men for everything.
