I always get sore breasts a week before my cycle, but this time they haven't stopped hurting since my last one. I am not suppose to get it till the 30th and I have had this soreness for almost 4 weeks now. I haven't noticed any other signs that point me to being pregnant but at the same time I really haven't been looking for them, till a couple of days ago. I took a pregnancy test the other day and it said that I wasn't pregnant, so I don't know if I should go by that or wait a couple more days and try again.
Thanks for your time and help.

My last period wasn't shorter then usual but it was a bit lighter... usually when I get it I go throgh two heavy days and then it is hardly there the next three... this last time it was there but not heavy or light. They haven't been hit or hurt in any way within... who knows how long, so I know it isn't anything like that, I never sleep on my belly so I know I am not squishing them at night or something to that effect. I have gained about ten pounds in the past month I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. That is making it so I can't tell if they are swollen or not because I know they get bigger when you gain wait... I could hardly fill a B before but now it fits perfect. Like I said though I don't know if it is the ten pound weigh gain! Thank you for all your time though! You're all the BEST!

That was my first symptom of pregnancy...I now have a three month old son...lol. Super sore breasts, heavy breasts, rumbling tummy, lots of burping or passing gas. Heartburn or indegestion? Strong sense of smell...All subtle and early signs of pregnancy...

Check you cup size..are your breast also swollen? That is a better indication of pregnancy....as for soreness well there are many reasons for sore breast ..sometimes a young lady has a part of her body crave attention ...the cupping up and caressing or the brush like near kiss of lips and the squeezing fingertips and this can be translated into an aching or a throbbing more so than a soreness. Are you certain it is soreness and not a throbbing ache? Also a lady could have had her breast abused by her boyfriend or husband and it can take many days even weeks sometimes for a bruised nipple that was sucked violently or nipped in some way to heal. Medications can cause sore breast and infections though this is not generally true of both breasts at the same time.
But you cannot rule out that you are about to be a proud mother ... that would be awesome and if you want this I hope that your dream comes true. There is nothing in life more rewarding than holding a little hand or seeing those smiling eyes or hearing the music in a child’s laughter. It makes life worth living.
Good luck ...

That was my very first symptom of pregnancy both times I've been pregnant. However, since you are recently off BCP, you may also be having some hormone fluctuations that could be the cause. It sounds like you may only need to wait about a week before you can test and find out for sure. Treat yourself as if your pregnant in the meantime, but try to prepare yourself for not being pregnant, the emotions you experience when hoping to conceive are very powerful.

The test you took the other day would have been too early to read hcg levels. Wait till the 30th and test again. It is quite possible you are pregnant. Was your last period shorter than usual?

Hang in there, if your pain gets any worse call a doctor

I would wait a couple weeks and then try again for the test..but sometimes mine get sore also but I also sleep hard..and I lay on my stomach and that also can cause breast to be sore..also how long you wear bras too..but I would not be too worried about being pregnant just either take the test or see the doctor...

it's still a little early to tell from a home test. There is a chance if you have been having unprotected sex. Wait until the 30th and take another test. If it's negative, wait a week and try again.

if your breasts have been hurting since the last cycle, then the pregnancy test should've been positive already. And pregnancy didnt give me sore breasts, mine just felt heavy. I think you should get a breast exam.

You may be, but wait for a few more weeks and take another test. My daughter in law has been pregnant several times this way, but has lost it.
