I have 2 keys but would have about 8 if I used them instead of the garage door. Keep the others on had at least in case the battery runs down in the remote.

I have four. The house, the car, the trunk, and the mailbox. However, I only use the car and the mailbox keys because the car is in the garage. As a matter of fact, I leave the keys in the car all the time when I'm home.
