No, I think it will just make Bush look more pathetic. And it would be tough to make him look any more pathetic than he already is.

Many Republicans are already speaking out against the President.
It's called political expediency. Bush is a lame duck, and anyone who want to get re-elected or run for President for the Republican Party is going to play that game.
I don't think Bush speech will make an ounce of difference with respect to other Republicans.

Wake up! The Repulicans and the Dems are the same party! Don't listen to what they all say look at what they do. They all expand the goverment, raise taxes, infringe on our rights and blame each other. The joke is on us! Don't fall for the game.
