"Here" is a little vague. Do you mean just on earth, or more specifically in North America? In both cases I would have to venture a guess that yes my family is aware of my approximate location.

Thats a heck of a question. I guess I would say it depends on your age.A child should let their parents know some of what they are doing in life,teenagers think they know it all so they wouldnt let ya know and adults really dont have to tell anyone except maybe their spouse. Well yes they do. My parents created me and my husband lives with me so I think they know I exist. Of course the cat sometimes wonders if the food isn't out

they would guess i'm still here answering questions. they left 3 weeks ago. i noticed it that on sunday, when i also discovered about 1/3 of my dehydrated cat that the dog had not yet consumed.
