Does that make any sense?

The very foundation of all of our principals and American rights - but if you say you uphold the Constitution and that you are for Freedom then you are aligned with al-Qaida and a domestic terrorist!

Right now "terrorist" is the key "bad word"; so if you want the uneducated, unthinking, lemming-like Americans who believe everything they see on TV to fear and loathe something, you align it with terrorism.

In the 50s and 60s the word was "Communism" (which a lot of Y!A people still seem to think is a "bad word")

In the 70s and 80s--"crime" and "criminals".

and so on and so on....the propaganda mill keeps a-turnin'.....

i know of no person being labeled a 'terrorist' for upholding the constitution. what i have heard is people who know nothing of the constitution using the ignorance of others to hammer president Bush in any way, shape, or form that suits them including the nsa wiretap program, the patriot act and other tools used against islamofacsists. the fact is, the president has every right to use whatever means necessary to protect the people of this country during wartime...the FISA court judge who wrote the very law you speak of concluded this.

No, this usa become depending on particular ideas which the united states Patriot Act violate. for this reason, to be a "authentic American" you would ought to oppose the united states Patriot Act. we ought to continuously no longer "screw upholding the structure", because that's the most acceptable structure and foundation of authorities contained in the international.

For 100 years, Republicans have used every opportunity to shred the constitution. The basis of Repubs is greed and control.

If they can scare enough people, and bad mouth anough others, they get license to exert as much unconstitutional control as they want.

That's BS, the constitution is not in any danger, liberals are not protecting anything. Look in our history for wartime policies, like the internment of the Japanese. Many young people in this country today have never lived through a war, at least we don't have rationing in this one.

It's a fear tactic employed by the right, that actually won elections. Now it has been beaten to death, so the political reps are no longer employing it, but the mindless masses can't seem to let go...
