Because people watch too much television.
Watch Larry King or something. Carlos Mencia is not media.
Maybe even watch The Colbert Report... He may not like Bush, but he knows how to be a true democrat and what we have to do to keep being true democrats. Cold shouldering every little thing Bush says is not the road to freedom.

It's acutally higher than that. It's around 40%, still a little lot, but not as low as 28%.
Second, he can't make everyone happy, and he is trying to do that. While you may not like something that he has done, chances are he has done something else that has helped you. For example, lowering taxes or stopping terrorist attacks are good, but they get over shadowed by the War in Iraq, or illegal immigration.

No, it is because his presidency sucks.
Many different people are angry with him for many different reasons.
Some people are mad because of the war, some because they blame him for losing the republican majority in congress.
Some people hate him just because he is a republican even though he is a pretty liberal republican if you want my opinion.
His policy on illegal immigration is my hang up with him.
Still he is a lot better than the alternatives would have been.
When you have two sorry candidates to choose from you have go with the one that is not a complete clown.
