I know this is someone passe, but did Star Jones not get a raw deal? Not only that "OH THE INSULT" of replacing her with Rosie who so needs a life and to get that chip off of her shoulder. If you're a dyke you're a dkye, nobody cares, you don't have to bash people because ur not comfortable with yourself!!

Using that word to describe Rosie is bashing in itself..
I think Star Jones will be fine, she's a millionaire, she's got a good life, she's getting fit, she wont fall and lose her limelight simply for the fact that there is so much hype about it all.
She was a diva, and self-confessed at that.
Rosie is a very strong personality on The View, and she brought in a lot of different viewers when she came on, she will leave soon enough to be on her own show once again and take those viewers with her.
But back to Star, no she didn't get a raw deal, she messed it up herself and should have taken the opportunity when she left the show to shine instead of act like a baby about it.

First of all, easy on the slurs buddy. Second, Star got what she deserved. In the ten years she was on that show, she somehow got it into her head that it was the Star Jones show. And she used the show to get her wedding for free! She violated her contract by plugging products on the show so they company would give them to her for free.The studio told her to stop and she refused and even refused to come to work until they threatened to fire her and sue her! She lied to the viewers when she refused to admit that she'd had gastric bypass, nut saw nothing wrong with telling the world that she got her boobs done! She was and remains to be the most obnoxious host that ever graced The View stage. Rosie may be loud and she may be aggressive, but I respect her for being honest. She freely admits that she has body issues,but calling Donald Trump on the fact that he's a hypocritical media whore has nothing to with that. And lastly, the proof is in the pudding: The ratings had dropped nearly 10% the last season that Star was on the show. The ratings have jumped 25% since Rosie. What does that tell you?

I think she got a raw deal. Now granted Rosie was put to replace Meredith, and I personally might have enjoyed the mix of Rosie with Starr. But who knows the inner dynamics. However I think Starr got a lot of bum rap. I really did like her. It's too bad.

Rosie did not replace Star. Rosie replaced Meredith as the moderator.
Star did it to herself - committed professional suicide. Next time she won't blab an announcement LIVE without running it past her bosses.
