How is life like in smaller towns in U.K.? Where do you go mostly for you entertainment on weekends for example? Do you like where you live? Is it boring ? Do you talk to your neihbors? I havent spoken 20 words in one conversation wiht my next door neighbor in over 15 years!

If you look at the size of the country related to the population its pretty obvious that not that many people can live in isolated areas.

I live in the country in England and I love it. I pop to the city when I have to but I can do everything here. I have a great relationship with most of the people in my street and as for entertainment there is a great community spirit. We have amateur dramatics, pubs, different clubs as in photography, wine making etc. I'm 36 but I go to art classes with 70 year olds.
