"IF YOU PUT 1/2 YOUR COMPLAINING ENERGY INTO HELPING US WIN THIS WAR INSTEAD OF HATING PRESIDENT BUSH, WE MIGHT JUST WIN THIS. REMEMBER THE IMPORTANCE OF A NATION "UNITED"."
- The stronger, more stable and more confident a nation, the more people should be confident to dissent, or at least speak up when they disagree with certain policies being implemented, no matter which person holds the presidency, or which party holds Congress. Wars aren't won by the citizenry being quiete and doing what they are told... there are many nations in history when the population have said nothing and not dissented and their nations were destroyed (Germany during both world wars for example). What makes the US great is that there is internal debate and soul searching in times of national struggle, and that people aren't afraid to question their leaders. Many people cannot do this in their countries and wish they enjoyed the rights that US citizens enjoy. Don't let those right's go to waste, and speak up against anything you feel is being done fundamentally wrong, such as government policies. You owe it to your country.

This outta be interesting !!
I'm watching because I CARE !!!! I care about our country and I am a Conservative !!!!
EDIT* - Hey there Pip, I checked back only to find what I previously suspected. .. ...majority of Conservatives said YES, majority (BIG) of Liberals said NO and scoffed like little insolent children . And although the Libs didn't always identify their affiliation, well, we all know their 'nicknames' and their Yahoo Profiles indicating a Liberal mindset !!!
You just may be one of the very few 'reasonable Liberals' amongst a dog-pile of monumentally close-minded foolish individuals !!!!!!!!!!1

No. Republican. I'd rather stand behind a cow with diarrhea. The end result is the same, but the cow crap is easier to wash off and doesn't stink as bad.

I am still trying to figure out last year's speech. The President said that Americans are addicted to oil, so I am trying to figure out why he did not chastise 'Big Oil' for becoming wealthly off of people's addictions. I think it is called 'enabling'.
