Don't clutter up your resume with personal stuff. Make sure your objective has you looking for a specific job like sales trainee or whatever. Employers don't want to waste time wading through that. Mason is only helpful if you tell your fellow masons you are looking for work and to help you with leads

If I were an employer, it wouldn't matter much to me if it were there. Unless somehow it related to the job, or if you think the person reading the resume is a mason also and might be impressed, I don't see how it would help.

arent people not really supposed to know that?

I wouldnt put it on a resume- but you have a ring dont you? people will notice. and since you are a mason, cant you find out if the guy who is hiring is a mason? or his superior?

It doesn't have anything to do with your work skills and experience. leave it out. If your hiring manager is a Mason, flash him the code sign or whatever it is that you do.

Basically it's like putting your religion or age, etc on your resume. It's nobody's business.

Mason, as in secrect society, or as in stone?

Stone is fine, but unless you're gonna work for Exxon or Dumbya, I'd leave the secret society stuff off.
