When Fish Fly is a great book for motivating anyone, but particularly a sales force. It is a great book that focuses on having the right attitude rather than mastering or memorizing a magic list of responses to overcome customer objections.

Since I was until last yr a manager I was given this book called unlocking the secrets of retail magic. the author is Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz.Was a great book, small in size but big in promise.Good Luck!

Read the dollar bill sign. People work because they need money. Money is the primary motivator..it is what draws in your customers..you save them money, right?..give bonus incentives...make them attainable and frequent..that will keep the motivation lubricated. I hate cheap employers...and so does most of the rest of the working population.
