I need help!!! I want to sew a jacket into a size smaller!! pLEASE any help will be appreciated!

Heh...

Depending on the material, this can either be a pain in the ***, or a colossal pain in the ***.

The only thing you can really do without completely destroying the jacket is to take the sides in. If there is a seam that runs from the bottom of the armpit to the bottom of the coat, you can pinch the material together. The resew the seams, and cut the excess material off. The problem is that you have to change both sides of the jacket by the same amount, otherwise it's going to be crooked and unwearable.

Good luck. I would just take it to some place that does alterations if I were you.

Just open the jacket and take 1/4" more seam each side so you will got 1 size smaller.

the answer is not to fix the jacket; fix yourself. gain two sizes and it will be a size smaller...

Shrink it in the washing machine.

Trying washing it or if that doesn't work, take it to a tailor. They'll fix it.
