It's easy to say that I would have stuck with the Colts now that they're in the Super Bowl, but if this were a year ago, I would still say stick with the Colts. Really, how much money will be enough for these guys?

Leaving one of the game's greatest QBs and that prolific offense for a mediocre team like Arizona shows that the Edge had no commitment to winning the big one.

Luckily for the Colts, their system is good enough to plug any back into the offense and still win. And the bright side for the Edge is that Leinart and the Cards look like they have a promising future. Let's hope EJ can last long enough.

I think with Edgerrin James they should have possibly taken the same route the Saints did with rewarding former Running Back Deuce McCallister; by re-adding him to the roster as an inactive player which means if they win; he'll receive a Superbowl ring. Marvin Harrison is being investigated by the FBI for the involvement in the murder of the guy he originally got in that fight with back in April 2008. I think the Colts have firmly removed themselves from any ties with Harrison after a lot of dirt came out that Marvin wasn't "such a nice quiet guy." I'd be happy for Edge though if they decided to award him a ring if they win; the same goes for Deuce McCallister if the Saints win.

I would have taken the money. Running backs have shorter career spans than any other position, plus they are easily replacible. Even though Edgerrin is an excellent back, he was replaced rather well by joseph addai and dominic rhodes as they are in the Super Bowl. So I would have taken the big check while I still could.

Can't blame Edge for taking the money thrown at him by Arizona. The NFL is a business and compared to other leagues, do not have guaranteed contracts. Indy's offer was probably nowhere near Arizona's offer. Edge knew that he was leaving a Super Bowl bound team, but he was also thinking about his future too.

You can´t blame the Edge, he was a great player with the Colts, but now Im happy with two RBs the big rookie Addai, and the secure short yardage runs of Rhodes

Go COLTS GO BLUE

Good question......you can't blame football players for getting all they can as quickly as they can......they play a sport where one play can end a career. I'm sure he believes he made the right decision right now, but if he finishes his career w/o a Super Bowl ring, he'll have some regrets. Then again, he wouldn't get one this year anyway cause the Bears are gonna win !!!!!

No
Edge made a big mistake and don't think he doesn't know it. But, the Colts made a good choice, the got rid of the guy that wanted the money and kept or drafted the guys that wanted the ring. Addia has turned out to be a great pick.

Take the money and try to rebuild a very talented young team and eventually take them to the superbowl.

Stay. He'll never even have a remote chance for a ring w/Arizona.

He makes too much money no matter where he is. I'm sure he's wishing he was going to the Super Bowl! ;)
