Im picking my classes for my 1st yr college and I want to be a pediatrican.Which would be a better major?..Biology or Chemistry..such a hard choice

Which do you like better? Med schools don't care what major you are. Just that you take and do well in the classes they require (look up each med school's website to see their individual list of classes).

i think you should major in nursing for the moment. At least you can start working on the field by the second semester and you can find out if you still want to be a pediatrician. And the best part is you'll already know what your basics will be when you get to med school.

My friend wants to be pediatrician too and thats what she's doing. We're both nursing students and she'll be graduating this may. While she was taking all the pre-req's and nursing classes she was also looking at which med school she was interested in going and looked at that school's req'ments for admittance.

And if you like both Biology and Chemistry, you can major in Biochemistry!
