A star at dawn.
A bubble in a stream.
A child's laugh.
A fantasy.
A dream.

A 'Not I'. A being without agency. Or asleep. We don't think when we are asleep, not in the same sense as we mean the term when we are awake. Thought in sleep is disconnected, erratic, illogical and is not active, directed, or agency driven.
So..if you are not thinking you are a being without agency (i.e. no self consciousness, or no awareness of being aware) like an non-human animal (animals have consciousness but not self consiousness because awareness of being aware requires language) or you is having a nice long kip innit!
God, I'm brilliant..I could've been a contender..instead I've ended up a ticket collector at Fulham Broadway Station..wot a waste...

But you ARE thinking. That's the point Descartes was making. You can doubt everything. You could be a brain in a vat being tricked in somesort of Matrix-like way into believing the world in which you dwell is correct & real.
You can doubt all that, but you cannot doubt the fact that YOU are something that is doubting. You cannot doubt that you are doubting. Therefore, you know that YOU exist.
So following this logic, if you didn't think, you wouldn't be able to prove you exist in any way shape of form. But you posed a question, so you must think, about other things besides your own existence. To pose that question, you must have thought "If I do not think, what am i?" THis is a tautology, as you THOUGHT about the possiblity of not thinking.
Therefore; you do think, so you do exist. You area concious being capable of questioning existence. But you cannot question you're own existence as something must exist to question your existence.

You would be an unthinking human being, and therefore, you would be of no use to yourself, or to the society to which you belong. Perhaps the appropriate term for one like this is a "blob".
