Why is it that Bush the President can push for and authorize sending hundreds of billions of U.S. tax dollars to Iraq for rebuilding,

but he sends nothing to one of our 50 States that was nearly destroyed by tidal flooding? One of our 50 United States was almost destroyed and they did nothing?

Since when does foreign policy come first and America come second? Those are our tax dollars!

Something is not quite right in America!

i totally agree it seems like its always been this way. this is such bullshit we have plenty of things like New Orleans , homeless , heath care that people cant afford. I like tupacs saying we got money for war but cant feed the poor.

Same thing happens on a daily bases. They spend my tax dollars to support illegal immigrants. BTW who is rebuilding New Orleans? Do people in La. buy home owners insurance and if so are they able to collect?

The US government has spent billions on the damaged Gulf Coast, including housing for the relocated, etc., and is continuing to spend billions. Whether the response could have been quicker or better is not your question, so you are barking up the wrong tree here.
