Yes. Non-fiction is not the same as fact, just that it purports to be based on fact. Fiction purports to be based on the imagination, no matter what basis in fact it may have.

Nonfiction, I don't believe there will be an apocalypse but I wouldn't label it as fiction because of it. It's just the opinion I've formed as a response to books of this nature.

No, I wouldn't consider it nonfiction. It is BASED on fact. nonfiction IS fact that what I believe. Although if you do a leanent meaning then you may be able to slide with non-fiction otherwise I would label it fiction

Depends on how the author treats the subject. Looks like the author's serious, so yes, nonfiction.

Yes, it's nonfiction. That doesn't mean it is "true." It is speculation based on facts of various kinds.
