Just saw on the news ANOTHER bombing in the city of Iraq. A car bomb exploded next to a super market . Why the super market? What's the point of just randomly bombing places in your own hometown? Someone please tell me.

Most of the people doing this kind of thing in Iraq are members of Saddam's former regime. They want to regain power.
The tactic is terrorism. The idea is, when you don't have the strength to get what you want another way, to scare people enough that they won't resist.
Saddam's regime was a terrorist state, in that it practiced terrorism against its own citizens and funded terrorism in other countries.

For one, this is what those people know. Those people have been at war with themselves for a long time. Its all they know. Many believe, like the suicide bombers and the men who flew those planes into the trade center, that they will be with "ALLAH" and have many "things", like women and whatever else fancies them. They learn this from a young age. And why President Bush thinks he's gonna change things over there is beyond me. His own country could be falling to **** right now and he's all about the War in Iraq. I say take care of your own children first, being the people of America.

Internecine sectarian violence that is being instigated both internally by Shia and Sunni leaders and by outsiders (al-qaeda) to wreck any chance of democracy in Iraq. Iran and Syria are fanning the fire with all their might. The last thing Assad and Ahmahdanutjob want is a US friendly democracy on their borders.

Why did we have a civil war? It is because they are standing up for their beliefs and sects. Also they are blowing up their enemies neighborhoods...not theirs.
