El Nino primarily. Here in northern Ohio it got unseasonably cold in October, then it was in the 40s and 50s through the end of november up until the last couple of weeks. Now it's friggin cold and we have snow. You're next buddy :)

It's just a normal year. Every year will have unusual weather. Even without the specter of global warming, you will always set records somewhere. Next year will be someone else's turn.

Blame it on El Nino, not global warming. Denver, Colorado has had two blizzards this year. (So far) Just wait and see what February, March, and April have in store.
