You can wear whatever you want, done from furs from anyway you can get them. Just stay clear of the PETA bunch, they have an itchy finger and use spay paint to make their point. For your info, the most active and known PETA sprayers are usually down and out socialites and out of work actresses.

tell her that real fur is eco pleasant, earth pleasant and a renewable source. If human beings understood that the technique used to make pretend fur is way more suitable deadly to larger animals than real fur they doesn't purchase pretend fur ever back. each step interior the generating of pretend fur is poisonous to animals, the air, the water and the earth. there is really no longer something animal pleasant about pretend fur, it is between the most important lies ever being befell on a gullible and really duped public. also many furs come from the Canadian North, and it is the purely element that brings money to the close by community of the far north. there is not any summer season, they could't strengthen plant life, so the fur commerce is the version between a good living and poverty. Fur commerce retains youthful ones in college, it discourages drug and alcohol abuse and it restores the glory and classic livelihood to those human beings. My husband's family members will thanks each and every time you purchase a real fur because it is been the version between poverty and prosperity.

no. And you could not have any assurances. A huge percentile of the fur we use for coats is from china, and their not really minks anyways, they skin dogs and cats alive. don't believe me? go to furisdead.com. I think that's where they have the video. And how, even if you know that it is killed 'painlessly' (that's a crock), do you know that they weren't trapped, with steel jaws around their legs, trying to chew off their legs to get free, infection, starvation, and all the other horrors that go with the fur industry. Why do you need fur anyway? Don't say to keep you warm, that's a lie. It's fashion, and it's deadly fashion. People like you were born without conscience.

It's okay to wear whatever you want to wear. Just be aware that you might get some negative feedback from some people since fur is not considered "P.C." If it makes you feel better to know that the minks were killed in a painless manner (whatever that means) then go for it.

There are no assurances...unless you killed the minks yourself. Plus, they still would have to die to make your coat...just because it might be less painful doesn't make it ok. Would you be more sympathetic to someone who had shot their victim in the head over someone who tortured them? NO! In either case, a person died. Anyways...my point is, if you like fur coats, buy a fur coat. But don't try to find one that is "cruelty free". Such things don't truely exist. If you don't believe me, watch the movie "Blood Diamond". Unless you see with your own eyes how something is made, don't believe the person trying to take your money.

No because they would just assure you that it wasnt killed painlessly and beef cows do feel pain they are slaughtered. Just buy a fake fur coat otherwise you are promoting fur coats. Best if luck.

I don't think that's okay at all. It's wasteful...the mink's fur is used but what of the rest of it's body? Is someone gonna eat the mink's meat? Prolly not, so no, I don't think it's fair to kill a beautiful living animal, just to steal its fur. When animals are killed to make food (pain free hopefully), then it makes more sense to use the skin or fur to make accessories.

First things first, there is no humane way to kill anything.... unless that creature is suffering, its not humane....
Now to get past my views on it.... If you want the coat, its up to you, you are the one that has to wear it, I doubt anyone will throw blood on you, I wear leather I eat meat... poor animals were murdered, but I can live with that...
being from farm country myself, I have seen how beef cows and chickens are killed for food... seeing it will turn your stomach, and probably make you a vegetarian for a while... trust me.... but once again, its your decision, if you want it get it...don't let anyone else tell you what to do

I think in this day and age there is really no reason to buy a fur coat, when we have so many other warm and fashionable choices in coats.

You can never really be sure that animals that are used for their fur will be humanely killed. In fact, it's usually the opposite that's true. Look at poaching and that will tell you everything.
