Well, no one can tell you why we're here, because no one knows for sure, but I'll tell you what i believe. There is no reason for us to be here we're pretty much purposeless in the big picture,in a few billion years (could be more, didn't pay much attention in my science class at the time of learning about this) we're all going to be dead and gone anyways, our species will die out and no one will care, humans just make up reasons and purposes to try and make their life meaningful when in actuality in the long run it will mean absolutely nothing at all, all the work and all the struggling will have been pointless and you will have nothing to show for it but memories and then you'll die. Its all an illusion, we live in a fantasy world where no one wants to face the true reality, we are insignificant. I don't mean for this to sound so depressing but its what i think and that's the best I can describe it in words.

There is no reason why we are here. Do you think there is a reason for each gnat? For each individual prairie dog? We are all here by accident. If the asteroid hadn't hit 65 million years ago there would be no humans at all.

We are simply animals with big brains. Someday we will all be gone and all human accomplishments will have amounted to nothing whatsoever.

I guess you mean 'people' on other planets. i would say there must be at least a few higher civilizations out in the universe. Since they are now discovering many(200) planets around nearby stars, it now seems very likely.

we wake up. eat. go to work. eat. go to sleep wake up and do it again. I dont understand it either my fellow indian (hehe sory I had to say that)
I suppose it is very similar the the aspects of yin and yang
good and evil
push and pull
life and death
chain reactions. some thoughts are too big even for the human mind to process.
I hope you find the answer you're looking for
