My mom saved my first tooth, a piece of hair from my first hair cut and baby pictures. In my own opion a mom does this because she wants to remember her child because to a mother you will always be her baby no mater how old you are. It might be disguisting to you but to the mother it will be a memory that will never die. yes they have germs but as long as you keep them sealed and never open them everything should be fine. Now don't get me wrong but there are somethings you should never keep like a tampon or anything of that manner. For some of you people go out and visit your mother because she can't show love to a tooth, a piece of hair or picture though they do help her hope to see you again one day.
