do the stars influence your decision on who gets the best answer?

no it really shouldnt
and if people are going to start awarding best answers according to who starred them, the its totally gaming for points nothing more nothing less, which is crazy anyhoo

and yahoo would have lost the reason for the stars then, although i think it really hasnt caught on correctly as ive seen questions starred that are just totally ridiculous.. but ive noticed if you star a q u can remove the star too!

I have decided to ignore the stars. There is no delete that i can find. Do not like that. So, no they do not influence my decision.

Nope. Dragon rarely looks to see who starred her qwestions. Best answer goes to the best answer, whether that person starred the qwestion or not.
