I used to hang clothes out on the line. One day after putting on my skirt, it felt like I had a wad of tissue or something, when I kinda cupped it, it moved. I kept it in my hand as I removed my skirt on the side of the road, and when I looked it was a Large Brown Recluse............ooooooooooowwwwwwie. Anyone????

While in the marine corps in Camp Pendleton we were about to go to sleep. We had our sleeping bags laid out under this lean to. Well we were getting ready and someone had something jump across his hand, we busted out the flashlights, and there were at least 10 black widow spiders on the ceiling or hanging from it... then we look down at our bags and they were covered... must have been 25 or so crawling in and out of them

Don't worry it couldn't have been a brown recluse. They are anything but large. They are tiny little spiders. Like 1/4 inch if my memory serves. I was once bit by a brown recluse on the a s s. Thank goodness the best place to get bit is on the fattiest part of your body. = )

Since we don't have poisonous spiders in Canada that's hard to top!
I once brought in my laundry off the line, folded it and put it in the basket. For a whole day I could hear a "buzzing" sound in my bedroom. That night while watching a hockey game that I only needed one more goal scored to win a $100 pool I was rushing to get dressed for work on the midnight shift. Just as I stuck my leg in my jeans a bee bit me. My team scored and I won the pool. In the meantime I was ripping my pants off. My husband said, "If I had known you'd take your pants off that quickly for $100, I'd have given it too you a long time ago!" They still kid me about that one!

Brown Recluse!? I hope it didn't bite you...
I found a small, harmless spider in my ear once (I was camping) and that was very startling. It was way in there too. Now I am starting to believe all that "you swallow spiders in your sleep" thing.
Also when I got home from this camping trip, I found a tick on my back.

I was trying on clothes at a store and I sat my pants down on the bench. After I was done trying on clothes I went back to shop some more and I felt like a pokey prick on my thigh. I didnt think it was a bug. It felt like a plastic tag or something. I grabbed my thigh and scratched it. I huge brown cockroach fell down my leg. It was so gross.

Fire Ants......OMG !!! never even noticed them crawling along my clothesline into all the clothing on the line, as i took them off the line, folded them , brought them into the house and put them away or putting the sheets back on the bed....woke up in the middle of the night because i felt something crawling on me and stinging me...killed over 4 of them in the bed....husband found some in his socks as he put them on the next day...he was stung :o( and MAD !!!!

Yeah, spiders are no fun to find in your clothes, especially Recluse spiders or Black Widows. I once found an earwig under my clothes, darn thing was pinching me. I hate those things. Tough to kill too, you really have to stomp them good. Darn thing was crawling around under my shirt.

I was stung on the inner thigh by a red wasp that was in a pair of my jeans.
I had 2 paper wasps fly up under my shirt and sting me. I shed that shirt very quickly! Good thing it was in my own yard at night and no one saw me!
