hmmm assuming that the president doesn't have to run for re-election in the next 19 hours :) Jack always saves the day... even if not for himself. In a realistic note though, when a tragedy like that strikes the Country unites in a way that I would say yes he would be re-elected. Look at GW and his approval ratings after 911, something about a tragedy makes people lock onto what they have
