If you consider Def Leppard heavy metal, then I'm for Joe Elliott. Great range! Sebastian Bach is my second choice.
The worst would be Geddy Lee of Rush. Fantastic music with a tone-deaf lead singer. So sad!

depends on your definition of heavy metal. mine would be sabastain bach of skid row but if you consider guns n roses metal then hands down it would axl rose!
