I am turning 30 this year and I am struggling with all the decisions it brings... should I buy a flat, should I travel a bit more...? I have a good job, good family, great boyfriend.... I could get a mortgage and buy a nice flat and become independent for the first time... or I could do a bit of travelling see some of the world before I do it.... Everyone has these life decisions... I just dont know how to approach them?!!!!

Property is great as it is a long term investment and the prices are increasing all the time so it would make sense to go for that - however if I had the opportunity I would go travelling as that is a fantastic opportunity and life is too short to be getting tied down with a mortgage
I usually do a list of pros and cons and make my decisions by that - it has never let me down yet - good luck in whatever you decide I'm sure it will be the right decision for you

Travel is everyones dream, which I have been fortunate to have done a LOT of over the years.

Can you do both and stay sane and avoid bankrupcy. If you can then no contest. Life is a compromise you just need to determine what is more important to you now and in the future. As you age reflection is less a burden as the here and now takes over. Most us realise that we are advancing in years and options we once had are no longer there or are impractical now.

What happens if you become pregnant and you have not travelled. Think hard about it and go with what is COMFORTABLE.

Good luck, travel more think less.

The ten longest years in a woman's life happen between 29 and 30.

Don't make any rash decisions or you might regret making them later. Take your time and don't rush it.

Shakespeare once said in a play, "To thy own self be true". Get a dream, set goals to meet it and then follow it. Plan it out before you do it so that it will turn out OK.

If you are still unsure about what to do, ask Jesus to help. He will lead and guide you if you let Him and He has never led anyone wrong. You will find in Him a friend who will stick with you forever when others will desert you.

Time to get your life in order. There is more to it than financial decisions. What about getting a baby? Ruling the world? I think a plan that includes all these things at the same time is good. And don't put off anything. Two world views persist, constraint oriented and resource oriented.

Each choice has pluses and minuses. Make a list of these choices and the subsequent plus or minuses for each. Do not exclude your dream as a choice. See how they stack up in your mind and your heart and then approach them one at a time.

You have been blessed with a cornucopia of possibilities. Good luck.

u shud do wot ur first gut instinct is telling u!! travelling cud be fun but a home will provide for ur future, any1 can save a bit of money and travel if they budget correctly. at 30, it is time to think of future.......... at the end of the day, u can only do wot is right for u. i am 35 and now own my home outright - i have no regrets, i can travel when i want now purely because i put my future first.
