I have a Wii.... I LOVE my Wii.... It's fantastic....I've been a hardcore PS fan for a long time. I love PS, however, everything that I have heard about PS3 have been lackluster for the most part. I want to know if I will like the system. And also, my boyfriend is planning on getting an XBox 360...now...The first time I held a XBox controller it was massive (I believe it was when the XBox originally came out) So I'm not even sure I can even hold that controller. I'm intrested in some of the games for the 360 like Saints Row...but I'm still not sure...

Tips?

I have a 360 and the controllers are much smaller than the orginal xbox controllers (they are a pretty good weight though). The problem I have with 360 is that there aren't many great games out for it yet. Gears Of War is awesome, so is Lost Planet but there isn't much else that really seems to catch gamers yet...

PS3 right now, in my opinion, is not worth the money. However, it's also brand new. Give it some time and I'm guessing it'll drop some mega hits the same way the PSX and PS2 did. When you see a game you must have, then get one. I'm waiting for DMC4, MGS4, Lair and Heaven Sword before I consider getting a PS3. If you're a tech buff then a PS3 is also a cheap Blu-ray player as well, which is a plus if you ask me.

As for Wii, well you didn't ask any questions about Wii, but I really want to pick one up when the new Smash brothers game comes out. I love how they are integreting the motion into games (In Dragon Ball you have to raise your arms over your head like Goku to drop a Spirit Bomb). Fun Fact, a man actually said he lost 9 pounds after a regiment of Wii Sports daily. Good exercise too!

The 360 controller is much better.

The PS3 is doing poorly because it is too expensive and few people can take advantage of the excessive technology. Look at the game count and you will see why the Wii is still selling out and the PS3s are piling up at Best Buy.

In a couple years when Sony drops the price under $500 and some serious exclusive games come out, then you should consider buying that PS3.

PS3 can play blu ray disk, which is one of the new high definition dvds formats coming out (the other is hd dvd), which a blu ray dvd player is about twice as much as the ps3 right now.

But I am going to wait personally, every console has issues when then come out that are fixed eventually, so next year i'm going to get a cheaper, higher quality PS3. The only good games for xbox360 are the elderscrolls, halo, and dead rising, and you can play at least two out of three on your computer if you have a new enough computer

The wii does look like a lot of fun, but nintendo seems to target a young crowd, so the only game i might get if i were to buy it would be the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I can't wait for the Playstation 3 to drop in price and get resistance: fall of man, Playstation has yet to let me down, until then i will play on my ps2 and my computer

i could have all 3. on the 2d I easily have a Wii and a 360. I dont experience the want for a PS3 yet as flow platform video games are greater effective acceptable on the 360 and there are no longer adequate unique titles on the PS3 to warrant the severe value. i'll in all probability get one next christmas.

well i have a ps3, and at the moment it is not very good. not because the software is no good, trust me it works like a dream, but there are no games for it at the moment. the wi-fi connection on the ps3 is a fantastic feature, the games that are out look amazing, putting music, video, and pictures onto the ps3 was a nice feature. even the ps3 store is noce, where you can download demo's, add on's to existing games, you can download psp and ps3 games, and you can download trailers of upcomming movies or movies that are comming out onto blu-ray. a little known fact is that you will be able to connect to your ps3 anywhere in the world with your psp by the end of this year and play you games/vidoe/music or show off you your pictures on your psp! so if you are a ps3 fan you should get the system, but just wait a while until it has games out. people are smashing the ps3 because of it's launch problems and it's lack of games, however that will soon pass. so it is up to you if you want to spand the money for it. hope this helps.

I have the PS3, and Love it. Resistance is really a great game and will tide you over until more titles come out. Online play is free and fun. I don't even have a HD TV yet, but wanted to get the full value of my PS3 playability so I bought it early. I will be getting and HDTV alittle later in the year, prices should drop more. Get the 60 gig though, its worth the extra $100 for the wireless capibility and more hard drive space. $600 seems steep but I do not regret my purchase at all.

They make smaller controllers for the Xbox...and the 360 has pretty small controls so that shouldn't be a problem....the Xbox has games the other consoles can't touch (like Halo), but the answer to your dillemma is to get all the systems..then you can play what you want when you want...a touch expensive but well worth it when you consider the proprietory titles on each console

go to target, or walmart, and test play one of theirs. they should have one on display for you to try.

i went to target and tested one out. i was amazed about how cool, and realistic the graphics were.

if it weren't so expensive, i'd get one.
