Yes, I have been on two gay cruises - one on Atlantis and one on RSVP. They both were quite fun. However, one does tire of the many changes of outfits and the skimpy bathing suits - OK, maybe not the last one.
The crew of the ships are incredible, and they all report that they have much, much, much more fun when we are on board. It certainly shows with their service - and I certainly don't mean that in a sexual way.
The last cruise had a large bear contingent, which made it ever more fun, and it was over Halloween - how much more gay can you get? :o}
Any cruise has lots and lots of side trips (excursions) you can take - OK, well, maybe not a transatlantic cruise, but most. So you can get away from people for a while and have artistic or athletic or shopping experiences as well.
Go! You'll have fun fun fun!
p.s. There is also a wide variety of people, from skinny hairless tweakers, to older couples and singles, to people from all over the world. Ask the cruise line about their clientele before investing.

Not exactly. We did spend a week in P-town one summer. It was interesting, best whale watching I've ever seen way out there.
We went to a show one afternoon and the place was mobbed with gay and straight couples. Well at the end of the show this drag queens schtick was to pick on a straight guy in the audience. I was up from the table for some reason, and from across the room I see "her" go up to my guy, ask some questions and flirt and whatnot, so she sits on his lap, sings a little song, and at the end asks for a little kiss just to embarrass him. So, he's a rugged big guy, he picks her up, dips her to floor while planting a big wet one on this poor unsuspecting drag queen and the audience went nuts with laughter. She didn't know which end was up for a few moments. I laughed my *** off.

No, it never really interested me. That sort of think strikes me as having an entire week of nothing to eat but chocolate...I like chocolate but not for every meal.
I do enjoy being in and around the community but I don't think I'd want to have several days of nothing but gay and gay related activities.

No I haven't but my friends have told me they've enjoyed the cruises.
