I don't blame rap, I blame anyone who says or buys into the thought that drugs, violence, degradation of women, no education, and gangs, are all acceptable ways of life.

People blame rap for the problems facing and created by young african americans. Rap is a voice for the ghetto's and it can spread a message. governments and authorities hate that. therefore rap music is blamed. Another problem is that there is still a lot of racism around the world, and since rap is created mostly by young african american or black british males, it is an output for racism, which is very unfortunate also there are insane stereotypes that make rappers out to be stupid thoughtless people. some rap is created by stupid thoughtless people, but isnt that the case with most music? Thank you for posting that question...

What is it getting blamed for? Perhaps too much use of the
"N" word that only rappers are aloud to use. However I am a fan of rap music.

The only thing I'm blaming rap music for is...Not being ready for ME! I'm trying to blow up as a new Southern Girl Rapper. I'm white and that VH1 show is pizzing me off. They stole my novetly. So now, I'll go with the Southern Girl aspect. Thanks for the opportunity to think about my options!

its just the whities at their old tricks, they cant straight out say its the blacks fault we have all our problems, which secretly inside they do, because then their retarded defenition of racist will be used against them, so they have to blame black peoples music for the ghetto, gangs, drugs, violence and killing. simple as that, there are some people who are honest and come out straight and say they hate black people, but most people hide it inside so they can keep busting the r word.

Because if they don't have something to blame for their problems and mistakes, people might actually have to own up to their actions. It's an easy scapegoat.

Why not. But you shouldn't put music and rap in the same sentnce because they just don't go together.
