The 80's were great. I miss the skating rinks and the music. I had my kids make a cd for me so I could listen to some of the songs back in the day. Wish I could be back in that time, but you grow up and things change. Our kids will be saying the same thing. Just bought the game "Name that Tune 80's addition", awesome game. Although, there were some groups that I did forget about.

I would love to bring back the 80's - just not the clothes and hairstyles. I can do without the Jerri curl juice.

I love 80's music and movies compared to now. Did you notice that most music today is sampled from good stuff from then. Even the movies from now are all remakes of the 80's or older.

I was born in 1988!! I love the 80's music. What a bunch of grumps. What is wrong with the 80. Great times being a good child. I agree - BRING BACK THE 80's!!! I love the style, music, hair and the cars. I love Don't you want me baby - The Human League song. 80s were great - no terroism, no war and peace.

Me, me, me!! Tho' possibly because I was a kid (I wish I had been a teenager), but music was fun, films were fun, everyone seemed happier like there were no limits!

I don't know there seemed to be more of an 'innocence' or maybe 'naievety'. 80's summed up to me: Dire Straits, Michael Jackson, Spandeau Ballet, Lionel Richie 'walking on the ceiling', Duran Duran, Madonna, St. Elmo's Fire, Ghostbusters, Weekend at Bernies, Flashdance, Footloose, Grange Hill - The A Team!! Dur dur dur, dur dur dur, dur da dur, dur da dur du dur.....

Cash rich, bad perms , new romantics, boys wearing make-up and summer holidays that seemed to last for ever....

flying ants, stag beetles and white dog poo!!

Nostalgia - a great thing huh?

Spoken like a true old git !!!!!!!!

- The hair was higher.
- The music was weirder (and not of that x-factor crap)
- The toys were better (Transformers, turtles, Big Trak)
- The burgers greasier
- The technology funkier (a mobile phone that doubles as a brick & Sinclair C5)
- Computer games with a sense of innocence (Prince of Persia / Eye of the Beholder / Space Invaders)
- Michael Jackson was still black & free from scandal.
- Great TV (A-team, Wack-a-day, TISWAS)
- None of that Political Correctness Crap !!!!!

And if you tell the kids of today how cool it was - They don't believe you !!!!!!!!
