Pray. And "telling them what they want" is tantamount to a confession, which would prove your guilt even if you were completely innocent. You'd have to be out of your mind to confess to something you didn't do just to "get back." Which, naturally would never happen. You'd disappear.

No one would ever hear from you again, and no one would ever know where you went, and no one would ever be able to prove that you were innocent because under the secret black prison system, the accusation itself is proof of your guilt.

That doesn't sound like America to me. But it seems a lot of Conservatives are willing to replace the Constitution - for which millions of people died to protect - with a promise that "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear."
