Hi,

I just receive my Wii Cards on the mail...just one day after Nintendo announced the release of Legend of Zelda: A link to the past.

Now....my question is.....if you have 2000 points to use in the Virtual Console right now....how would you use them?

Thanks for your recommendations.

If you don't have Super Mario 64, get it. It's a very expansive adventure game, and it's still one of the best 3D platformers to date, even 10+ years later.

After that, it all depends. If you want more Mario, Super Mario Brothers (make sure it's the "Super" one!) is the way to go. If you want Zelda, A Link to the Past is a much better place to start than the original. F-Zero is a good futuristic racer, though I don't really like it myself.

If you want to wait a little while, Mario Kart 64 will be released next week. If you have more than one controller (GameCube or Classic controller) and another person to play with, this is an excellent multiplayer game.

Personally, I'm holding out for Kirby's Adventure. It's an old NES game that was way ahead of its time (see my thoughts here: http://www.oddevan.com/main.php/archives/143/attempting-to-blog/ ), but there's no word on when it'll come out.

And no matter what, be sure to HAVE FUN!!!

Gunstar Heroes is a MUST have. Then Legend of Zelda a link to the past. OR you can add in Super Mario 64. You cant get all three, but a combination of them. I suggest Gunstar because its great co-op play, and Zelda because well, frankly, Zelda kicks ***!

Dr.Mario for sure. I have the ORIGIONAL Nintendo, and though the Origional Link and Zelda games are cool, it is hard to beat the simple pleasure one can gain out of Dr.Mario. Never understood why- but it's one of my fav. games.

If i could manage to get a wii i would be all over goldeneye and paper boy when they come out. but i think star fox and ociarana of time (sp) are good choices. if they're out that is.

I LOVE super mario bros, I play it more than anything I bought on a disc!

I mean the one with different levels, not where you have to kill those turtle things to win.
