F*ck no, I wouldn't even step foot in that state.

I'd do it in a heartbeat! I have no ambitions of a career in the NFL, so it wouldn't bother me to get fired after one season. I'd take the money and run all the way to the bank!

Al Davis could sell more tickets if he had a 'coach for the day'. Fans look under their seat and one lucky fan gets to coach the team for that day. They couldn't do any worse. Hell, some of these kids who play Madden 07 on XBox probably call a better game than they do.

I'd rather coach a grade-school team than for an Al "I'm-in-charge-here" Davis. They never have a chance to go anywhere as long as he has any association with a once proud franchise.

Hell no
not until Al Davis is dead, wrapped in concrete, chained to a box car and dumped in the deepest end of the bay.

Lane Kiffen has got to be nuts, he'll last about 2 seasons.

If you mean, "me", I would absolutely do it. Fun addition to the resume, definitely good interview fodder.

If you mean "If you were someone like Ron Rivera," I wouldn't. Note that the hire is likely Lane Kiffin, USC's co-offensive coordinator. That's a hell of a jump, even though I think he's a good coach.

Depends on the money. I'd hate to play against my Chargers twice a year but hey we're talking millions right?

It's called a secondary Oakland...get one!

Yes....like Gruden, and probably Kiffen, I would have a ball....screamin....yellin'... (at appropriate times) coaching a bunch of misfitted BIG kids....I would love it.....I'm probably crazier than Al so we'd do well together.....THE Silver & Black are coming back....hew---yea

No thanks. Look if Al Davis would let me have control and take his hands off proably. I am just worried he can't do it anymore like he used to and that would get in the way.

Just so's you know, the job's not open anymore, they hired Lane Kiffin, offensive coord. for USC.

Wanted to let you know in case you were a fan.
(Or wanted the job.) :)
