Bush has sent the US spiraling down a long trail of Fascism, and has all but destroyed our Bill of Rights, and trampled on our Constitution time and time again. He has done all this because of what the PNAC states.

"Mein Kampf: "In the size of the lie there is always contained a certain factor of credibility, since the great masses of the people....will more easily fall victim to a great lie than to a small one." Thus was born the concept of the "Big Lie," yet another Hitler crowd manipulation tool co-opted by Bush."

What about Bush actually JOKING in 2003 about where the WMD were? Bush knew then, that Saddam didn't have the WMD, and you could tell this by watching his demeanor. Going to war is the most critical choice that a President could ever make and Bush has lost the war because of his lies that he has told to get us in the position that we are.

Another critical area that Bush is like Hitler is the fact that he has severely limited American's free speech and rights.

get prepared for a bunch of name calling and mudslinging, but you will probably only get 1 or 2 true answers.

First of all, you probably weren't even alive when Hitler was Chancellor of Germany so you really don't have a clue what he was about.
Secondly, Saddam had WMDs because he used them against his own countrymen several times.
Now, to compare American republicanism of the 21st century with European fascism of the 20th century. The only common factor i can see is actually one that was brought to us by the Supreme Court, not GW and that is the loss of private property rights due to eminent domain. If you truly can find an example of another similarity, then by all means, tell us.
And the big lie was authored by Hitler's minister of propaganda, J. Goebbels. Bush has not committed genocide against any people group and he has not invaded or annexed neighboring countries as Hitler did.
The main thing he HAS done is NOT secured the border with Mexico, but then the last 20 Presidents had not done that either. That was and is his biggest mistake.
So lay off the Hitler comparison, already!!!
Oh, and the fact that you have been able to get on Yahoo and spout all this anti-Bush tripe and not be facing prison time or a firing squad is proof that you still have free speech.

I am guessing by your question that you must be very young without much world experience or wisdom. To compare the two people is so far off base it isn't even funny. Here are a few differences.

When Adolf Hitler seized power he had all political dissidents killed or imprisoned, there was no voice of opposition in Nazi Germany. Speaking out against the Government was fatal.

When Adolf Hitler seized power he instituted a wide range of racial laws that stripped Jews of all their rights. They could not own businesses, could not marry German citizens, the list goes on and on.

When Adolf Hitler seized power all forms of media and information fell under control of the Nazi propaganda machine, there were no independent opinions offered in Germany.

When Hitler started World War Two his plan was to acquire permanent territorial gains in the east and also exterminate the Jews, the Gypsies, The Slavs, Homosexuals, The Handicapped, Drug addicts. Under Hitler some eight or nine million people were killed just because they did not fit into the Nazi's idea of a master race.

Under President Bush what rights have we lost? How have we lost the right of free speech? Just the fact we can discuss this topic nad not have members of a secret police knocking at your door in the middle of the night is proof of that.

I do not agree with the war, I think it was unnecessary and motivated by the need to control the resources of the Middle East, but to compare Bush to Hitler is crazy. Please educate yourself and do some reading about what Adolf Hitler and living in Nazi Germany was really like. I suggest "The Rise and Fall Of The Third Reich" a great book that can give you a small glimpse of what it is like to live in tyranny.

First of all Hitler came at a time in Germany where there was no money, work, or food which led to the rise of a man-man.
Where has Bush trampled the Bill of rights or free speech? He did not lie about WMDs as they found about 500 of them. Hitler also killed millions and millions of people... 11 millions Jews alone. Bush has not done that. .... Hitler believed in the Aryan race... Bush does not believe that Americans or any race is better than any other---- hence why he is setting the shi'ites and sunnis free from Sadam.

Maybe take a history class before making ridiculous claims.

So... you heard somebody make the comparison and like the good little mindless sheep that you are accepted it without thought?

Anyway... no, Bush is not like Hitler.

Hitler was a leftist... Bush isn't.
Hitler was a socialist... Bush isn't.
Hitler was a dictator... Bush isn't.
Hitler ran millions of people through death camps... Bush isn't.
Hitler killed off all of his political opposition... Bush isn't.

We've lost no rights... much less had them "all but destroyed" as you ridiculously claim.

I doubt you've even read the PNAC mission statement, because it is not some evil, NAZI-like document. Quit letting other people think for you, look it up yourself.

And FYI Bush is decidedly anti-Fascist... you might want to look into what the Fascist party actually was and what it's policies were, especially economic ones. Hitler wasn't a member anyway.

Surrounded by a great and powerful red lake of fire
The puppet masters tune their strings and wet their tongues
The strings are set above the stage for another glorious twist
Only the bones of the old and the skulls of the ancients are in tune
To take the foundation and shake it so that the slaves of the elite bow down before them in awe
Those who thought away to safety are now under the eye
The great seeing eye
all will be turned or they will be destroyed
so says I, Molech - The Great Owl
I sweep away the ashes of the past
we may never answer their call
our guilt is freed and our minds are one

Every intelligence agency said Saddam had WMDs Clinton said Kerry said it almost everybody in congress said it. But Bush is the only one who lied huh. You can tell because of his
"demeanor" you should get a job at the CIA if you can just look at someone and tell if they are not telling the truth. I would like for you to site some examples of Bush "severely" limiting free speech, have you gone to jail lately for speaking your mind. Grow up.

Its funny how everything can be blamed on Bush. You people need to get a grip, who cares if they moved the WMD's, they still needed to be stopped. If it wasn't for people like Bush, this would not be a free country and if you don't think its a "FREE COUNTRY" try somewhere else maybe N. Korea. It's sad that a bunch of bandwagon jumpers want to blame the one President that would actually stand up for our freedoms. You people need to pull your heads out of the sand. There are millions of people that want to kill you, they think you the devil, they do not care if you are a Repub, Dem, or Lib they want you off of their planet. And how can you say Bush has "severely limited American's free speech and rights"? It seems what you are lacking in BRAINS your willing to make up with imagination. Stupidity should be painful!!

Are you currently in a concentration camp? Armed thugs knocking at you door in the middle of the night? Hitler didn't come up with that idea, that was Machiavelli and probably someone before him the concept is as old as politics, Hitler just stole it to plagiarize in his book. But I understand you're doing the same thing, taking an idea attributed to one person that vaguely fits the one you want to demonize. It is also a lie. George Bush has done nothing to your freedom of speech, zero, he has pushed legislation that may invade certain individuals' privacy, not curtailed their civil liberties. You're rhetoric is old and tired and by comparing YOUR president to a sadistic madman, you devalue yourself as a citizen and me.

Let's see. Bush hasn't called for the destruction of groups of people. That's a big difference.

Free Speech Limited? Prove it. There's plenty of dissent. Look at Y/A. You'd already be in shackles under Hitler. Don't hold your breath waiting for the DHS to bust down your door, either

Rights? Again, prove it! I think the hypocrisy is that we randomly check 75 year old grandmothers at airport check ins.

And, sweetie, last time I checked, the war wasn't lost. Stalled, yes, lost, no.

No, he isn't. I don't like Bush and I think he is a bad president, but the comparison with Hitler is totally inadequate and trivializes Hitler's crimes. It seems that you don't know very much about Hitler and what he did, so let me explain:

In Nazi Germany, there was no free speech. You could be killed for speaking against the regime. You could even go to a concentration camp for refusing to greet with "Heil Hitler". Now it seems that some Americans like you feel that their speech is not as free as they want it to be, but actually you can say everything you want in America and you can't be punished for it. No where in America there is a prison or even concentration camp where anyone is arrested because of something they said. If Bush were like Hitler, you would not use Internet and complain about him. You would have to fear for your life if you had said a word against him.

Then it seems you compare Bush to Hitler because Bush has also started wars, but please see the huge difference between these wars. I was against the Iraq war from the beginning, but it can't be compared to World War II in any way. Hitler attacked and occupied most countries of Europe and in this war more than 50 million people were killed, many of them civilians. It was the cruelest war that the world has ever known. In all occupied countries Hitler ordered the systematic murder of Jews and of Sinti and Roma (Gypsies) only because they were born as Jews or as Sinti or Roma. Six million Jews were killed, the estimates for the Sinti and Roma victims range between 200 000 and 800 000. Hitler also ordered the murder of homosexuals and as I wrote above, of anyone who opposed the Nazi regime in any way. Under the rule of Hitler, millions of civilians from occupied countries were deported to Germany to work as forced labors, often in concentration camps, and many of them died. I could go on with it. I don't understand how you can compare it to anything that Bush has done.

Another big difference between Hitler and Bush is that Bush will leave his position at the end of his second election period. You know that when Hitler was in power, there were no more elections and his rule ended with his suicide when Germany was totally defeated in the war. I have no clue how you can draw a parallel to Bush in this regard.
