There's no way. I can't watch horror movies for that reason. Even if I watched it first thing in the morning in broad daylight with a big group of friends. When it came to be bed-time, I wouldn't sleep a wink.
Some suspense movies even do that to me. I have to be really careful with what I watch, I have a vivid imagination that doesn't let me be in control of it when I'm scared.

He's 15! It is not like he's 5. I think pretty much all 15-year-olds watch only R-rated movies. It isn't like this is a pono film or anything. I imagine that most kids start watching R-rated movies around 11- or 12-years-old. At 15 it shouldn't even be an issue anymore.

I had trouble sleeping after Horror Movies when I was a little kid. But by the time I turned 16 I could watch them with no nightmares at all. I love to watch Horror Movies at night. I find them freaky but not scary at all. My favorites that I like to watch at night are the Nightmare on Elm Street Movies,Pet Cemetery,It,Freddy Vs Jason,Wes Craven's New Nightmare & Children of the Corn Movies.

I find most horror movies to be humerous actually. Therefore I can watch as many as I wish and still sleep like a baby. If you get that scared by watching horror movies, then don't. Or you could realize that they are just fantasy and that most of them could not be true. Good luck with your issue and have a nice day.

Not right after - I need to do something for a little while to get my mind off of it. Best thing is to watch a comedy series on TV, or else just put some music on and read a book for a while.

If you have bad dreams from watching them, stop watching them. If you really like the movies, make sure you watch them in a group. Try listening to some music before going to bed to get your mind off the movie. I love scary movies and bad dreams or not, I gotta watch them.

I always have trouble sleeping after a horror movie. I couldn't sleep for a week after watching the re-released Exorcist a few years back.

yes. such movies don't bother me at all, because i always put it in my mind that horror movies are only movies,,they are made up to entertain the audience. the simple thing is,,just pray before going to sleep. ;p

Thing is, reality is far scarier than what they can put in movies.

Just ask a real life CSI or the night crew at a funeral home.
