Do you put on sock then shoes, one sock one shoe, just shoes, or barefoot?

While getting dressed, what order do you place footwear? Does anyone else ever inspect shoes for critters before putting them on? (Like the chupacabra spider that could be hiding there?)?

I live in the country so I always check for spiders
Both socks first then shoes.......shoe strings left over right always

I put on my left sock and then my right sock, then my left shoe and my right shoe. I think I put my left sock on first is because I am left handed and my left side is my dominant side. You should put your socks on first then shoes, because what if you had to leave out in an emergency, then you would have on one sock and one shoe.

in case you're staying at dwelling house, then circulate barefoot. yet once you're going out in public, by using all skill you need to wears shoes (socks elective). some places, like eating places, do no longer choose you coming in to their institutions in case you have no longer have been given shoes on. possibly a cushty pair of sandals might experience greater helpful for you.

I always put on both socks first, followed by the shoes. As for checking what's inside, I guess I should start doing that...... <>

Turn my shoes upside down and back against the floor. Which my neighbor proceeds to grab her broomstick and dent her ceiling. Both socks on left first(per Granny) then my shoes.

I check my shoes for spiders, centipedes, and other creepy crawlies. You would be surpirised what gets in my house.. in the middle of winter non the less. I put on my socks first, check my shoes, then put my shoes on.
