I do like Lee Evans quite a bit but I wouldn't say he's britains best comedian.
It's a matter of personal opinion in the end but I think Eddie Izzard, Bill Baily and Dylan Moran are funnier in stand-up.

No, he is totally unfunny and unoriginal. He stole his physical falling about etc from Norman Wisdom. Give me Peter Kaye, Billy Connolly and Russell Brand any day

No,he's to repetitive once you've seen his act you know what he's going to do every time. Billy Connelly is much better as he is unpredictable.
