im inlove we have been together for 5 years now and i really want to get married hes friends have told me that he wants to propose but he hasnt i think he needs a little un-noticed convincing how should i go about getting him to propose????

ok yes i know i could propose but iv never liked that idea i want him to do it... and the 1st time his friends mentioned he was going to do it was like 5mths ago i dont like waiting hahaha and we´v already talked about getting married and having kids .... but that was along time ago i´v tryed hinting it... but hey im not good at hinting stuff haha

IMHO: You can't change the actions and behaviors of someone else; you can only change your own. So far, you've tried subtlety, but it's not working. There's no help for it; you may have to ask him yourself. I'd bet my dessert he's scared, and understandably so. It's a big deal! If you decide to wait for his move, do what you can to make the prospect less frightening, but there's nothing else to be done about it.

you can start a conversation about marriages, about some people that got married and how nice is to be married with the person you really love.I think he will understand what are you trying to say.Or why don't you propose to him?It's not a big deal! ;) Good luck!

Drop hints tat you like the idea and would always say yes to him (said in a loving way)

don't force him, just give him time. if you already know he's gonna do it, why rush it.
