Hello!
I used to have a terrible monthy time when mine came around. I used to gain anywhere from 7-10 pounds and it was all in my stomach so I looked pregnant. I know it's uncomfortable but try not to eat so much salt and drink lots of water during that time, that should help.
Good Luck!

Yes, because of the bloating and water retention, should only last a few days though. Midol and some of the other over the counter medications help with this.

A pms symptom is bloating or water weight gain. I can add a few pounds during your time of the month. Totally normal- just a pain! That's why you get 1 pair of jeans a size bigger than your usual and call them your "fat" jeans.

You can retain water that can add to your weight. I do not see you retaining 5 pounds though. You may just be bouncing within a couple pounds right now. Its normal.

That sounds about right you gained 5lbs of water weight and this is normal and you get rid of it towards the end of your cycle.
